FLLAY INDEPTH-ANALYSIS ○

This pretty in pink chika first appears from the very beginning in "PHASE 01 - False Peace". Our first meeting with Fllay is pretty peaceful, and we immediately realize she's just an average girl living an average Life. She goes to the Heliopolis technical college, has her share of friends such as Miriallia Haw, Jessica, and Misha [Last name not given for either], and is shown to have a some kind of relationship going on with Sai Argyle. Helipolis though gets attacked due to Zaft making an attempt to aquire [and succeeds in grabbing 4 out of the 5] the Earth Alliance's secret militar weapons, the Gundams. When the attack occurs Fllay becomes seperated from Jessica and Misha and runs into a shelter alone.

Fllay reappears after Kira grabs a shelter pod out in space. When opening up the pod she immediately recoginzes Kira as one of Sai's friends and hugs him trying to put the pieces together and find out what has become of Helipolis and what will become of him and herself. Promptly a few episodes later Fllay loses her father after being promised that everything will be alright. Fllay begins to devise a way to get back at coordinators and use Kira for not protecting her father. Fllay then makes the decision to join the army which gets the others, and Kira to stay on board the Archangel. She then begins her d

We immediately learn of Fllay's extremely fragil mind the second she steps on the Archangel. She isn't one for conflict, and is someone who could handle facing reality the way she did. She is easily frightened and scared by the meer mention of coordinators out of fear they could harm her [as expressed in "PHASE 8 - Songstress of the Enemy Forces"]. Fllay is shown to need comfort, and she subconciously seeks it from Kira although she doesn't realize that is what she is doing and only views it as her manipulating Kira. All this hate and manipulation eats at her but in the long run it makes her grow up quicker than the average 15 year old girl. When Kira leaves before his fight with Athrun in "PHASE 30 - Flashing Blades" Fllay is in a state of insecurity as she tries to set things right between Kira and herself.

In "PHASE 32 - In the Promised Land" Fllay becomes upset and insecure with herself in her need for comfort as she seeks it from Sai. She is disbelieves Kuzzey when informed that Kira has become Missing In Action and is supposed dead. In her attempt to forget this reality she almost begs for Sai to comfort her, and tries to deny her feelings for Kira. In her moment of listening to Miriallia's cries for Tolle she attempts to shoot Dearka. The shot fails due to Miriallia and she is tackled on the ground by Miriallia as both cry unable to handle the pressure of losing the ones they care for. She becomes resigned due to the Earth Forces attempt at being the spokes person for their cause due to her father being the Vice Foreign Minister. This changes though as Alaska is attacked by Zaft under Zala's orders. Fllay runs from her position to head to Panmala and runs into Rau Le Creuset. She becomes mesmorized by his voices' similarity to that of her fathers and begins asking for her father before attempting to shot him. She is punched in the stomache and collapses into Rau's arms and is taken to Zaft. Her time aboard the Zaft ship helps her to better understand the people she was once racist against, and blamed for her delicate world falling apart.

Rau: You're already living on borrowed time aren't you, Fllay Allster? Back in Alaska you would of been equally dead weither I had shot you or just let you run off and you would die with in moments if you were to shoot me right now. The soilders would hear or if you didn't want them to finish you off I suppose you could always point the gun at yourself and pull the trigger. I assume the gun is loaded. On the battle field life was cheap. It's lost in an instant and yet people still fight for their country or for justice, but your not really cut out for that sort of thing. You may be wearing a miliarty uniform but your no soilder. Am I wrong?

Overall Fllay is a daddy's girl at heart, and has delicate structure but with a confused and broken heart. She tries to hard to piece her world back together, and to stay away from the battle field out of fear. She desperately seeks comfort and plays it off as her manipulating Kira so as to keep her safe. She finally though begins to understand and tries desperately to help those that helped her along on the Archangel. She wants nothing more for this war to end, and to see Kira gain so she can talk to him properly and tell him her real feelings. Fllay Allster is by for the most humanistic character in this series, and demonstrates the fear, confusion, and turmoil of a delicate girls mind war can have.
